Fairly Entertaining
Resident Evil game series was popular during it’s time. So when it was made into a movie, there were different kinds of reaction. However, from all of those reactions, there was a common element that stands out. The movie was entertaining. I personally like this movie although most game fans were mostly disappointed on how the story was carried out. Those who didn’t have any idea about the game, commented on the lack of thriller aspects since it features zombies and other monstrous things. But then, everyone agrees that the movie has great action sequences. Milla Jovovich and the supporting characters did a great job in bringing the film into an acceptable level of entertainment. A little bit of storyline didn’t hurt either. Although it doesn’t follow the game story entirely, nothing new ... Resident Evil game series was popular during it’s time. Milla Jovovich is fine!
I personally have only played one of the games and I couldn't get through the first level because it freaked me out. The movie isn't scary but it is very entertaining considering it is based on a video game. Highly Enjoyable due to Milla Jovovich's performance. She is gorgeous.
