Enter a world of no cellphones or cameras watching your every move. Enter a world of classy women and sweet cars where common sense is king and Jim is just a street smart guy that wins by the skin of his teeth. Great Show, Poor Presentation
Rockford Files has been a favorite of mine since the beginning. I grew up watching Garner on many shows and this one ranks among the best. Funny and suspenseful, Rockford never disappoints. However, the quality and presentation were missed opportunities. Lots of anomalies left in the transfer. Producers COULD have retouched the film for DVD. Instead it was hurriedly slapped onto disk for fast production and sale. The cardboard box with 4 disks stacked on each other creates a hassle to get to the other disk. The book-style cases with "pages" could not be THAT much more expensive. Season 2 was retouched and presented better. The TV movies were also presented better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

MY WIFE AND I ENJOY EVERYTHING ABOUT THE ROCKFORD FILES EXCEPT STUART MARGOLIN. WE HAVE NOW NEARLY COMPLETED WATCHING THREE SEASONS, AND IT IS STARTING TO LOOK MORE AND MORE LIKE THE "ANGEL" FILES. GARNER, BEERY, JOE SANTOS, GRETCHEN CORBET ARE ALL GREAT, AND WE LOVE SEEING THE PARADISE COVE RESTAURANT WHERE WE OFTEN ATE WHEN WE LIVED IN VENTURA.
