I thought this would be an ideal way to poach eggs but, despite following the instructions, the eggs exploded in the microwave and it had to cleaned thoroughly afterwards. I think the problem probably occurred because the poacher doesn't close properly round the edges. This leaves a gap which allows the egg white to escape. I have tried to rectify the problem, but all to no avail. The eggs themselves were poached well though, despite much of the white being stuck to the inside of my microwave oven!I thought this would be an ideal way to poach eggs but, despite following the instructions, the eggs exploded in the microwave and it had to cleaned thoroughly afterwards. tricky to use messy too small for eggs
it's tricky to use and tends to just burst open in the microwave and sprays the interior. ensure you add water but its too small to have water and an egg in each space so it makes a mess. not recommended.

Good2heat Microwave egf poacher
The principle of the poacher for micro is quite good but this one doesn’t close enough so it bursts open. Also if you like a poached egg with a soft yolk this cannot be achieved- as you need to spike the yolk and add rhe teaspoon of water. I think there are other brands available which are deeper and maybe this would help.

Abolute rubbish
Looks nice and shiny and new, but that's the only positives. The lid did not stay closed during cooking due to poor moulding of the locking mechanism. Eggs exploded making one serious mess to clean up.
