Replacement part better than original
The original rectangular clutch cable block fitted to the mower is bound to split in two like a hinge as it has no inner support. At first glance this replacement part looks like it is for another mower as it has a pointed top. However, it does fit well and its design means it has support against the metal handle as well on the outside face. For a Lego sized bit of plastic it does seem expensive but that is the nature of replacement parts for everything. A cheap, small piece of brittle plastic, must cost nearly 1p to make. Overpriced at all shops at about £7.50 or more. I wouldn't have been buying one if the original hadn't collapsed because it wasn't up to the job of taking the compression from the bolt which had also to hold the throttle lever assembly in place the other side of this part of the handle-bar, which is capable of exerting more bad, twisting leverage on the combined assembly. Piss poor design. Needs to be both thicker and made of a less brittle material. Piss poor material (brittle, black plastic).
