    In the tradition of Herman Woulk this is a panaromanic, longitudinal novel about the birth of the political state of Israel. Only Woulk could write the complex characters of passion and itensity that runs parallel with the life and death struggle of Israel's fight for its right existence. This story covers the time period from 1948 fight for freedom to the 1967 Six Day War. As Israel's struggle for its very existance unfolds, so do the lives and loves of the main characters.
