Primer for metallics
This is a good primer for the Alclad system since it is lacquer based. It is good for finding imperfections in the surface prior to you final coats. However, it is very thin and has a lower cure time than traditional primers. As a result it may take overnight or longer to have good sanding and handling qualities. It is a semi-gloss finish so can be a good final primer for all but the chrome and polished aluminum finishes which require a gloss undercoat. I usually put a gloss black over it anyway to make sure all is smooth.This is a good primer for the Alclad system since it is lacquer based. As tough and sticks as well as rattlecan, covers like vallejo primer.
This is the greatest airbrush primer I have ever used. It goes on thin and smooth and STICKS to your model as well as (if not better than) rattlecan primer.
