Terrific piece of machinery
Well what a terrific machine. It does everything I want it to do. It records two channels at the same time onto the hard drive or I can record straight onto dvd & I can transfer programmes recorded onto the hard drive onto dvd should I wish to keep or share them. It is a nice looking piece of machinery & set up was a cinch. You do have to press the ok button on 4 occasions to set up recording but this is because of the different features it has all rolled into one. It is pretty straight forward to use but then I am familiar with Panasonic. The instruction manual may appear somewhat daunting but it is set out clearly so you can go directly to the specific instructions you require. 250mb is more than ample for recording your favourite programmes & should you require more space it is pretty ... I ignored the child lock & giving any personal details at the start. The latter particularly is unnecessary. It is not a cheap machine but then it is not a cheap product. All in all I am very pleased with with my Pana recorder. Why not a 5 star? I don't know really. Maybe it should be!!

Excellent product - very easy to set up and use. Has many useful features - record 2 different channels at once while watching a previously recorded programme for instance plus catch up viewing enabling a currently recording programme to be watched from the beginning to catch up the original recording. A couple of minor irritations - the EPG guide is rather small due to intrusive advertising on the page and there seems to be no way of getting rid of this plus the fact that you cannot record direct to a DVD - you have to record to the hard disc first and then copy across to the DVD which is a bit of a pain to say the least.Excellent product - very easy to set up and use. Excellent product once again from Panasonic.
Excellent product. Easy to set up and use. Up to Panasonic's usual standard. Much better than the LG which this replaces! The twin HD Freeview tuners allows recording of two programmes while playing back a third from disc. The HD upscaling also works quite well. There is some patterning on block colours but this is not noticeable at normal viewing distance.

Great device
Excellent product I had one issue now resolved I recorded a couple of films from ITV4 When I tried to play them back I was presented with a screen asking for a PIN The User PIN did not work After some bafflement tried 0000 and all was well You don't need to have adverts, just remove the postcode from the set up menu and they are history
