    Godel, Escher, Bach by Douglas R. Hofstadter

    A friend recommended it to me and I've been trying to get it from the library for the past few months. My friend wouldn't stop raving about it so I finally decided to buy GEB and I'm happy for it. It's filled with many art forms all reflecting upon the same "Strange-loops" theorem which Douglas Hofstadter upholds as true. Well written and the introduction celebrating it's 20th anniversary adds to the reading. The book is in great condition.

    Beautiful

    Very intriguing story about the connection between three greats in their fields and their prolific connect to one another and to the world itself. Would recommend to anyone interested in mathematics, music, or art.

    Godel, Escher, Bach an Eternal Golden Braid

    Tremendous, challenging book on self awareness, the concept of "I" and cognitive development and potentiality. Uses math (Godel), art, (Escher) and music (Bach) to clearly illustrate his concepts. Well deserved Pulitzer Prize.
