E L James is a former TV executive, wife and mother of two based in West London. Since early childhood she dreamed of writing stories that readers would fall in love with, but put those dreams on hold to focus on her family and career.       Naughty ... but nice

      Everyone was talking about the book, I didn't have a copy, then by chance I saw the film advertised on television and watched it. Well, I couldn't see what all the fuss was about, so I bought the book, and the book is better. It is naughty in parts and to a point educational on people's treatment of others - still the domination aspect, we haven't moved on from the slave trade - but it was a good story. Quite shamefully it was my daughter that recommended the book, she has good taste. Looking forward to the sequel now.
