    much admired

    this series was and still is one of the best i have ever watched and i thought there were fine performances all round especially the role of penny by jan francis. as an old 'rocker' i liked the references to eddie cochran and buddy holly. the writer john sullivan is sorely missed.

    Timeless Humour

    Followed the original series in the 80s & found it just as funny 30 yrs on. A few of the lines are a bit non PC for C21st, but it's gentle humour hasn't dated at all. In it's time it was a lovely antidote to the harsh realities of the early 80s and it is even more of a magical escape from the grim life of 2017 Britain.

    Bought recently for my husband's birthday. Was a little disappointed that it wasn't sealed or cellophaned as would expect new product to be,so not 100% sure if it was actually new or used. However, it played ok.
