Does the job well
I have been using this product for two years now. It is reasonably easy to install, and has not had any failures so far! One must remember however, that the detectors require a new 9v battery ever one to two years, depending on the battery specifications.

Interconnected detector
I have interconnected hard wired smoke alarm system. Needed the radio link base to create a wireless interlinked system to hook up my battery operated heat and carbon monoxide detectors. The instructions were easy to follow and I replaced one of the existing alarm base with this one. Worked like a charm! Only downside is they have a self life of 10 years (like the rest of the detectors).
