In ... “A total of 30 class 1110 express electric locos were built for the Austrian Federal Railway. In 1974/75 loco no.1110.030 was one of ten locos in the class to be equipped with electric (resistance) braking, with the loco renumbered to 1110.530. The last of this group of ten locos was withdrawn from service in 2003. These were the prototype for the model made in Austria by Roco in the 1980s, catalogue no.04198C. This HO scale loco, which is not DCC-ready, has directional lights front and rear. It is supplied in its original box with an unopened accessory pack with alternative running numbers and original paperwork. Upon track testing the loco ran very smoothly in both directions and the lights worked correctly. NOTE that the main roof wire which runs across the insulators is displaced and distorted (photo 12) and requires re-fashioning. Otherwise, the loco is in excellent cosmetic condition for a 40 year-old used model, with intact detailing, decals, buffers and couplings.”
