Gilbert, Thanks for your help, it didn't cure the problem, nor the pedal !! I have sent the ECU back for more testing, tested vacuum solenoids, checked swirl flap actuating arm etc all ok, car has only done 30k ??...But really appreciate your advice, I may phone you in the near future, all the best, Ray
