After switching the boiler off to do some plumbing work it displayed the flashing blue light of doom on restart. Gas engineer said the fan had gone £300 to change-indeed a tricky job, but due to the boiler's age,(10 years lol) recommended a new boiler. As I wasn't feeling two grand at the time ;¬), I did some research and found a 2 minute video on how to replace the pcb. This isn't a certain fix, if the fan's had it it's had it, but definitely worth a gamble, you just need a T20 torx and a couple of screwdrivers to pry the fan off-it's plug and play. It arrived next day and boiler up and running in 5 mins. Now gas safe checked and all good! Hope this review helps someone else save their boiler from a premature trip to the scrapyard! All the best and be safe, Ian.

Original part but not functioning. Double checked by substituting brand new part and all ok. Clearly not tested before despatch, but refunded without delay but still nearly 2 weeks lost.

Fixed the fan motor, but as this is the third time the motor PCB has burnt up in 4 years, it is unlikely I will ever buy a worcester/bosch boiler again,

Works great and best price I could find for a new unit

A genuine part at much less than the manufacturer's price. Worked perfectly on test and when installed. Running fine...
