Product Information

The second Top Spin tennis game on Xbox 360 features a revamped graphics engine for more lifelike athletes. As in previous titles, players can choose from over 20 male and female tennis professionals, including such legends as Monica Seles, Bjorn Borg, and Boris Becker. Single and doubles matches are available in both the single-player career mode and in online competition. The latter supports custom tournaments and features a world ranking leaderboard that's reset every two weeks. Downloadable content is also available for new athletes, venues, and other enhancements.<br><br>In the career mode, players can create an athlete and build up his or her attributes in eight categories by competing in various events. Custom players are ranked 30th overall and will earn money to spend on new clothing, equipment, and accessories. The on-court action takes into account timing and proper footwork for returning shots. Serves are initiated by rocking the right analog stick back and then forward, similar to a golf swing. Real-time weather, cloth movement, and even perspiration are a few of the enhanced features designed for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions.

    Top Spin 3 (Xbox 360)

    This is a bold new version of the game of tennis that adds some twists to the standard control scheme but really pays off in the end. Top Spin 3 is as good as it comes graphically from the player models to the actual arenas. Players look and play like their real-life counterparts including signature grunts and groans! As mentioned earlier there is a new control scheme which incorporates the right analog stick and takes some time and patience to get used to but is definitely worth all the effort in the long run. Once you've mastered the new scheme you will have more control over where you place your shots than in previous tennis efforts. Some notable tennis stars and legends are missing but that doesn't detract from the hours of fun you will experience with this one. A great buy!

    Hollaaa.

    i played the demo, and it was pretty good.. lets see.. i liked it because: it had real apparel/rackets in there. i was able to create someone who used the same outfit + racket as i. it's fun long career mode dislikes: graphics could've been better (but then again its not a new game) 360 version doesn't have nadal what else is there to say.. its a fun game, if you play tennis in real life, im sure you'll enjoy it. you can be like "hey i can do a top spin serve too!" i reccomend buying this game if you enjoy tennis, because its a great tennis sim.

    TOP SPIN 3...Game, Set, Match

    TOP SPIN 3... If your looking for a realistic tennis game, Top Spin 3 is the game to get. It is simply awesome, this is coming from a guy that really didn't like the previous versions of the game. I played Virtua Tennis for all my tennis needs. I started playing tennis games on Dreamcast and now that I own the 360 I bought VT3 and I thought that was the truest form of tennis on a console. Well that changed when I downloaded and played TP3. It feels so realistic and looks incredible. The player detail is top notch!! The players sweat and get dirty as they fatigue over long matches, and they even get tired and make errors!! This game is simply awesome. The stadiums are all their, well except Wimbeldon but hey You make it what you want. The experience is still the best I've had on a tennis ...

    Good Tennis Game

    Product is great. I love tennis. The controls are very hard to use in game. Graphics are very good. The game play is just okay. There should have been more tennis players in game. Where is Rafael Nadal or legends like Agassi, Sampras, etc.

    Solid Game

    This game is a very solid tennis game. The control's aren't the easiest thing to learn but luckily they included a training camp to teach how to do everything. The career mode gets a little old after a while but is still fun. The game play is smooth and the graphics are great. All in all a good solid game.
