I don’t know how I missed this the first time round, quite tense edge of your seat type of film. Would suggest although it’s the third film watch rise of the Lycans first. It seems they have done a Star Wars and took you back to the beginning which was a little disappointing. Did get forth film on 3D which was so much better and it picked up where second film finished. Looking forward to last instalment and will get on 3D also. Not a family film but great evening entertainment, all lights out and just TV on and get ready for some scares 😂

I bought this set because I had seen one film on the tv and enjoyed it. I decided I would like to see all of the films so did a search and got them. I am very pleased with this set of DVD's.
i bought the dvd box set becouse i had seen the films but wonted my own copies, their is nothing to dislike about the product it is just whot i wonted, their is nothing to compare these free films are spot on.
Arguably amongst the best vampire movies ever made, the Underworld trilogy really shines on Blu Ray. It looks good on DVD, yes, but Ms Beckinsale is simply stunning in HiDef. An astoundingly good digital transfer means that no detail will be lost on screen, and every dark, wet nook and cranny is that bit more menacing and intense. On DVD a lot of the shadow detail is lost, but on a 1080p tv and fed from a blu ray player, the sheer depth of the shadow detail present in the scenes is unbelievable. The increased colour gamut of blu ray is here to be reckoned with. The box set itself is basically the three standard blu ray cases inside a cardboard sleeve, and won't look out of place alongside the Mission Impossible box set on your shelf, yet is not that special. I was hoping for something a little more avant-garde packaging wise.Read full review
A great series of films, but to put the film into perspective you need to watch the third film (Rise Of The Lycans) first. This film was made to explain the history of the first film and if watched first you have a better understanding of what is going on. The original film Underworld and it's sequel Underworld Evolution are gritty, realistic and benefit from the lower budget European film making and are much better than the forth film in the series Underworld Awakening which I feel suffers from the big budget Hollywood touch in much the same way the Rambo franchise did after the original First Blood. So to round up, three great films, but watch the third film first.
I saw each of the 3 movies in the cinema and I really like the story about vampires and lycans, it was a new different way to see this popular thing about vampires and werewolf...so, I decided to buy them and now I got them in my personal movies's collection.
Loved all these film, All have a great twist to them. When you watch the last of them you get to understand alot more. There is alot of action to them. The only problem i found is that they can be dark in some scenes, but hey they are vampires after all!!
