      Good in parts

      This is v.hard to review as it is decidedly mixed in it effects. I bought it to help my dog - a male collie/springer cross 2-1/2 years old - cope with the fireworks at this time of year but I'm not sure if it did. He was still visibly scared by the miscellaneous bangs that surrounded our Stoke on Trent home for the last three weeks and would not go outside after dark until midnight or so when all was calm again. On the other hand he has been much less excitable when visitors come to the door or when meeting people outside. I don't know whether to recommend this collar to others because I'm not sure the results are quite predictable enough but if you only want it to make your dog less excitable it might be worth trying. It also seems to make my dog less obedient - as if he is less ...

      Easy to use

      We found this collar easy to use: put on and fasten, it stays on securely. I am unable to honestly comment as to whether it helped or not due to the fireworks causing such an extreme reaction in our dog. I guess it's always worth trying and at this price I would try again.

      ok

      i have two rescue dogs and one is extremely traumatized ,,,,the collar had no effect at all. the spot one i used on the other dog and that did help a little with her barking.....please note my dogs where very badly abused before they came to me so i didn't, in all honestly,. think these would work. but i had to try.............i would recommend these products for less traumatized animals but i am sorry they are not for mine.

      Great product,bwell worth the money

      As an animal behaviourist specialising in dogs my husband uses these collars regularly. They need to touch the fur / skin so tends to work better on short haired dogs. Takes the edge of. A gel infused collar that smells of lavender.
