Super Value
These were the first series of Pioneer to feature a plastic front panel and were mocked for doing so in the audio press at that time. Thing of it is, many like NAD were doing it forever. What's more is unlike NAD and their shoddy construction and parts, this series of PIONEER was sonic-ally superior to most receivers of the time. This was better than the Carver, the Sansui and even earlier pioneers that might be cosmetically attractive. Great Retro - Vintage Stereo Digital Receiver
Terrific vintage stereo receiver/amp -- first one to be titled "digital computer controlled" -- not analog in any way. Originally came out around 1982. This one is used, of course, and not only works well but all the soft-touch buttons work and none are loose.
