Really enjoyed listening to these so far. User experience is great, music has a nice kick to it, and audio makes YouTube and films sound better than any other headphones I've owned. Only real negative is when using them for calls. I've heard that the mic quality isn't great, but I wasn't expecting the call quality to be so muddy. I find it difficult to hear my friend when using them. Also, I was expecting them to be best in class when it came to noise cancellation, but after a few train journeys on the London underground, I've found them to be on a par with with my pair of quiet comfort Bose I bought 2 years ago. I do enjoy the sound of them more though and the fact they don't need batteries is nice.

These headphones are often being compared to BOSE QC35 II. Well, as I have both, I can tell you the difference, as well as strong and weak points. First of all, Sony's are slightly more advanced, it is clear if you look on the dedicated smartphone app. Sound quality is also a little bit better than BOSE's while using bluetooth with noise cancelling. Normally I use headphones while cycling. Having BOSE on my head I had to turn off noise cancelling, as the blows of the wind generated wrong responses by headphone's AI. The result was more noise instead of silence - you normally do not hear the wind blows, but the noise cancelling system DOES and tries to neutralise it making contra-noise. And this is what you hear... The same problem occurs in Sony, but these headphones deal with wind much better. Remember - noise cancelling turned on means the better sound quality. Well, but on the other hand these of Sony have some severe flaws. Having NO PHYSICAL CONTROL BUTTONS is a tragic drawback! In theory, you need to swipe up and down to make the volume up or down, swipe forward to play the next song or swipe backward to play the previous one. Well, in theory... In a real life you swipe and swipe and swipe... until finally it works (or not)! BUT - if you just want to re-position the headphones, or you just touch it inadvertently - you pause, you play next, you play previous - just by the choice of its crazy AI... And one more thing. In wired mode, the sound quality of Sony is WORSE than in BOSE. Forget the Alexa or Google Assistant. In both cases are the waste of time and technology. It is not an improvement at all (try to ask Google Assistant to skip a song, raise the volume level, or pause - then you need to repeat it 10x, then you do it manually). The design of Sony is acceptable, but BOSE is beautiful! Read full review

I purchased these headphones as I'm a fan of Sony products and they've always been pretty good. It was a toss up between these and the Bose of similar price, as I've got a Sony MP3 player I went for these. Upon opening the box you can tell you've just got a premium product, nice packaging and case with everything you need. They're very easy to set up by holding down the power button for 7 seconds, pair it up with your android device and download the Sony headphone app and you get a host of features to fine tune the sound to your taste. Great feel and very comfortable, I would highly recommend these headphone to anyone wanting to upgrade to a good set and the noise cancelling is very good.

I'm not a fanatic when it comes to branding nor am i an expert when it comes to the audio quality but sound is pretty decent in these if you asked me. There's only 2 dedicated buttons - one's for power and the other button is for noice cancelling. Audio controls like start/stop, prev. Next song is done through sliding your fingers on the top of the right earphone. I thought I preferred having dedicated buttons for controls too but now that I got used to sliding I don't mind. Can be tricky with the sliding sometimes though and you need to do it few times. Again I might have not hit the correct spot. Don't work with Win7. Do work with Win10. Attached is jack mic-audio splitter/adapter and a jack cable (could be longer). Can use them via that cable, not only via bluetooth, but only listening to stuff, mic doesn't work this way. Oh, there's also a 10cm long usb-c (charging) cable. Hope it helps Read full review

I have these headphones as the finishing piece to my 4K tv. When I have them on, I am immersed in whatever I am watching, and unlike speakers, you hear everything that the movie or programme has to offer. I love the way the controls for volume or skip or pause use a swipe motion, while mute is achieved by cupping the earpiece. Charging is simple, it uses the same connection as a galaxy 8 up and charges quickly. It also tells you how much battery you have left, which I think is a great feature. The carry case is robust and well designed, so you can take them anywhere and enjoy whatever you are listening to in absolute peace and quiet thanks to the noise cancelling feature.
