It took about 4 hours to dry (it is thick pile). The water ran out quite fast, it is a small lightweight machine, one reason we bought it, and it is quite a fiddle to clean the parts after, but it certainly does work well.

It’s very light weight. it just glides over the carpet and cleans the stains in no time. The cleaner it’s self is so easy to put together you don’t need a degree in engineering. When it comes to taking the appliance apart to wash its as easy as eating ice cream. I had an older bissel years ago though it did it’s job this light weight model is supreme.
