The little Garmin has pretty up-to-date maps. It locks on to satellites fairly quickly and determines a route fast. It's very basic and easy to use but doesn't last more than half an hour maximum on battery power alone so, it need to be connected to a power source at all times when in use. It gets me from A to B fine though which is fine for what I need it for. For more complex route planning you'll need to pay more. Other than that, it's a perfectly good 'get-you-there' device and worth more than the £20 I paid for it. Came with charger/leads and window mounting kit.

seeing with google maps & smart phones gaining popularity I thought Satnav would be getting cheaper but still going for 100quid. So I bought this cheap, it's Good for the price, seems a little slow at reacting to directions at times and some errors in directions (only used it going to work and back no long trips yet), but overall for 20 pound was fine, Battery had little to no charge tho on arriving, so will take a long time to charge in the car, had a few cosmetic scratches on body but nothing major.

Got to be Bargain of the Year! This little satnav and its accessories all look brand new. I spent a few minutes configuring settings including setting Sally Traffic (Kate) as the directions voice and I was away. Got five bars of satellites immediately in a rainy overcast day and set off on a 20-mile out and 20-mile back drive. Absolutely no problems. Made a deliberate error and Sally told me to 'Turn around when convenient' which is what you want to hear. Unobtrusive just under the mirror A1++++

A little old fashioned looking to be expected, but still works well and seems in excellent condition and up to date maps. The Garmin arrived early which was most helpful, and I would certainly recommend this satnav to you. The Satnav came with new looking connections and the windscreen attachment.

I've borrowed other garmin GPS units from friends, but purchased this one because I wanted to make sure I could drive around Ireland without using my US phone for GPS. I also wasn't sure of coverage in rural Ireland. But the battery wouldn't stay charged, and the unit wouldn't work when plugged into the car's adapter. So: useless.
