    Great lens for a budget price.

    This lens is a true upgrade to the previous version. Pin sharp. It holds it own with the much more expensive Nikon 24-70. VR is good. I have taken shots at 70mm and hand held at 20th second with no signs of camera shake. Focus is quick and accurate. When shooting at f2.8 for portraits bokeh is good. 5 year warranty says it all really.
