    For Emergency Use!

    With the change from E5 to E10 I have concerns about long term issues with my clsssic Mini Cooper RSP. It is a 1990 model and some componants may be degraded by the ethanol concentrations in the new E10 fuels. Additionally as the fuel is hydroscopic water may build up in the fuel tank during long term storage. For these reasons I will purchase Premium E5 petrol whenever possible. Despite this it is possible that in some locations this may not be available so filling up with E10 may be unavoidable. Whilst one tank of E10 may not present an issue provided it is used quickly and then E5 used to fill up I am concerned that the car may be unused for a period of time with the E10 fuel present in the fuel system. By carrying the MillersEPS in the car I can minimise the impact by using it should I ...
