    Does not behave as expected when replacing a working VCC 3v3 circuit's 74HC245 - with 5v logic inputs (tested VLC with/without limiting resistors). Both Output Enables Low for B to A fixed buffer. All Low inputs gives Low outputs ok. But setting any input 5v High does not give a 3v High output. Digital voltmeter constantly changes - even indicating up to 5v. Data sheets have no apparent reason for what almost seems like open output. Tried several - apparently not a dud IC. Too risky to use.
