    Fantastic series and great acting!!

    wonderful series!! I also have the 1975 series which I also enjoy. I think I prefer the actors in this updated version. It is really gripping and it is impossible to stop watching it!! One problem was that there were a lot of glitches in the first season discs. Fortunately I already had season 1 which I had prurchased previously and so I just put those three discs in the new case and threw out the other ones.

    Love love love....the best

    Aiden Turner is the best. I was very engaged. He showed true emotion in the movie. I loved all of the characters. I have watched the series 4 times. I am in love with the Poldock character. I wish there were more seasons of it.

    Wonderful historical drama and romance of that time period (1800)

    Very interesting story taking place around 1800 Cornwall England between the aristocracy and the poor mine workers. Nice to see the historical perspective of to two different classes and how they dealt with their circumstances. Very good balance of drama, romance, and some humor..very well acted.

    Excellent series. Great cast.

    Excellent series. The cast is wonderful, you just feel like you are back in old England with them, they are that realistic. It takes off kind of slow but really picks up by the end of the second season and is quite shocking. Once you start watching, you don't want to stop. It brings out and portrays real love which is so missing in society nowadays. Well worth your time and money.
