Convenient and easy to use
Being cordless the Shark IZ300UK is easy to use and move about. The suction is good. I use it on its lowest power most of the time and get around 40 minutes run time which is enough to do my whole house. The boost setting uses lots of battery and using that all the time uses the battery in about 10 minutes (but I've not had to use boost much at all). The flexibility of the handle is great and I've managed to hoover all the way under our beds for the first time in years. It's easy to empty. I've only had to pull stuff out once, whereas with my old corded Vax air max I had to do it every time. That said the bin is not that big on the shark, but it might be hair wrap feature that helps make our dogs hair more compact in the bin. We have 3 dogs and 2 cats and at least 3 of them moult a lot ... Being cordless the Shark IZ300UK is easy to use and move about. The suction is good. I read lots of reviews and watched loads of YouTubes about the cleaner before getting it and would agree its really important to clean the filters and brush head regularly. The brush on mine doesn't get hair wrapped around it, but dirt does collect in some areas that could affect the suction if it's left. It is really easy to clean though. I really like the shark, because it's so easy to use, it's clean to smoke and as it's cordless it's not a chore to use.

Good, but badly designed
This is a good vac,but has a huge design fault, in that it can't be 'parked ' in an upright position, should user need to momentarily stop hoovering to answer the phone for example . Can't believe anyone could make such a design mistake!

I’ll never have another corded vacuum cleaner again!
It was a toss up between the Dyson and the Shark, I did a little research and there wasn’t a great deal in it so I opted for the Shark as it came with two batteries, I’ve been a solid Dyson user for 35 years and what a fantastic brand they’ve been, however, this Shark is something else, I vacuumed with my very used corded Dyson then I vacuumed again using the cordless Shark and the Shark picked up an unbelievable amount of fluff and dirt the corded Dyson left behind, I can’t believe how much suction the Shark has, I managed to do four rooms on full power before the battery ran out. The tangle free roller does work to a point but still had the odd hair or two wrapped around the roller after one full use. I’ll never have another corded vacuum cleaner again, I didn’t realise how powerful ... All in all I highly recommend the Shark cordless vacuum cleaner!

Shark cordless vacuum cleaner.
Best cordless vacuum cleaner I have used,I bought two before buying this one. G/tech being one and Morphy Richards one G/tech absolutely useless and not cheap to buy. Morphy Richards one was better and a lot cheaper but just done an okay job. At the moment the shark one is really good but it is still in the new stage. I also have a shark corded cleaner and that is fantastic. I would definitely recommend shark as a cleaner. Last note the anti wrap hair brush is excellent haven't had any tangled hair at the moment. Batteries don’t last as long as stated so definitely get 2 battery version. Also purchased pet motorised head for stairs, much better than tool included .. My other gripe is that it’s quite heavy after a while with the weight being at the top. Would be better design with weight lower down handle. Having said all that, suction good and excellent low profile for getting under things. Easy to empty. Everything is easy to use.
