Here's why this seller is great: the books are always as described; the communication is always friendly and super-helpful; the books are always carefully packaged (in proper sturdy cardboard book boxes); they are always posted quickly; delivery is with Royal Mail (a huge bonus for someone like me who lives in a very rural area where couriers don't deliver) and you're buying from a small business who actually care about their customers. My lovely book arrived safely today. Thank you so much.

    A cook's lifesaver.

I was looking for something different, recipes that were not to difficult without buying fancy ingredients that I might never use again. I found Gill Holcombe's book, quick easy meals that even I could make.

    What a let down

I was disappointed that despite the title stating that you didn't need any fancy kitchen equipment, some of the recipes needed a good processor. The lure of the book was to manage when you don't have much. I don't have much do the book was appealing to me but I've been put off it now. No doubt the writer has a state of the art kitchen and has never had to manage on a budget.

  • Useful and enjoyable.

Lots of cooking books promise a lot; this one delivers a lot. Good, interesting food explained in a simple fun way. I'm a vegan but I have no trouble adapting many of the recipes for my needs. This book is good for anyone, whether an experienced cook or just starting out, there's something for everybody. Sum it up in one word - brilliant!

  • A real starter book

If you're looking to start cooking or even just look back and seeing what you can do. This is the book for you, it don't "talk" to you like a 3 year old. Just to the point "how to" kinda thing.
