    OK, but not great.

    I was underwhelmed by this movie perhaps because of all the positive hype, and further, directed by Ridley Scott, one of my favorite directors. No shades of Prometheus here though. That said I will agree that the audio is reference quality but the video was much to soft and imprecise for me. As I'm sitting here writing this I find it impossible to even remember the ending. Fortunately the movie was less of a cost than going to see it in a theater. One last note I should mention is my HT system: Panasonic plasma, Oppo 103D bd player, and Atlantic Technology 7.2 speakers system. All in all a forgettable for me.

    All the actors I feel gave a great performance, and the special effects were also well done. Also the film moved at a very smooth pace I really enjoyed this movie.

    Best movie since Apolo

    I'm a huge Matt Damon fan and a huge Scifi fan. This movie was just as good as Apolo and a movie I know I'll watch over and over again. Great story, great acting, great cast.

    Martian

    Great movie that makes you fight for the Mark Watney's life. Fantastic soundtrack that weaves the story together along with perfectly placed comic relief. All supporting actors keep you engaged throughout the experience. It's been a long time since I've seen a movie with an original plot and this one is worth every moment. Watney will make you wish he was real because he is just that incredible of a character. Highly recommended.
