    This item is actually a dealer demo system including power supply (simulating your furnace/AC/Heat Pump) AND the associated thermostat. Carrier dealers would use this demo to help sell customer on the advantatges of a programmable thermostat. This Carrier thermostat is the exact replacement for Bryant 2 wire thermostats that retail for greater than $200. In addition, this includes the expansion module that takes an SD memory card which stores the thermostat's schedule. The SD card can be loaded onto a PC either with an SD card slot or a USB port and be programmed using a graphical interface included on the card itself. Once programmed on the PC, the SD card is simply re-loaded into the thermostat with the new programs. The thermostat then will record any changes made through the keypad ...

    Hands free operation!

    Love the fact that you can program it to do almost anything. While we don't use the time of day functions, we have it set to keep the house within a 2 degree differential. It determines whether we need heating or cooling between 75 heating and 77 cooling. Never have to manually make changes!
