    Old but still good!

    These coaches are somewhat dated but are still a good buy at the right price, at a third the cost of brand new equivalents, or even less. Generally pretty good models of the Stanier coaches they represent and could be improved if required by skilled modellers. Main defects are the squidgy corridor connectors, the rather crude flush glazing, and a matt paint finish that rubs and marks quite easily. I’ve also found that the back to back measurement of the wheel sets can vary but this can be corrected. Overall they are worth what I paid.
