For being a refurbished item it looks like new and I have not seen any issues with this. I have not used it as of yet so cannot comment on use. I usually use a hair dryer and then straighteners, which takes forever. Looking forward to cutting the drying and styling time. I did think about the cost of the item, but with this being a refurbished item and eBay coupon, this was a deal I could not miss….

Apart from the item not being in it's original box, it was indistinguishable from a brand new one, although I'd have liked to have seen it put inside a plastic bag for extra protection.
