If anything, the device is too capable for me on USB 3 as the streams are such high bitrate and it does not offer 50/25fps (aimed at the USA no doubt). I was pleased to find that if I plug it into a USB2 port it both gets enough power to function (quite surprising) and offers 50 fps and 25 fps (instead of 60fps and 30fps) at 1080p if you let the device pre-encode MJPG format. Have to drop to 720p for reasonable raw fps
