    Purchase and communication was quick, but recevied the wrong caps at first. Seller refund the difference for shipping in returning the item. When getting the correct caps, one of them had a holding clip damage. Shipping was fast, and packaging was perfect but seller was not aware of damage. I was expecting them to be recevied as pictured on the original listing with no damage as value and price were highly fair for the quality and unsual of the items. Thank you.

    Solid U-shaped lock

    Good, solid strap locks. They're the horseshoe type, with a spring-loaded pull to unlock. One minor turn-off is that the overall height - that is, how far the strap lock sticks out from the guitar - is pretty high. No laying your guitar in the case with the strap attached, unless the case's padding has a recess.

    Simple and Rock Solid

    Classic strap lock system. Works perfectly and guitars stay put. The improved ramp means they clip right on, even if you are awkwardly holding a guitar at the same time. They pop right back off just as easily. Once clipped on they aren't going anywhere regardless of your on stage acrobatics. It takes seconds to swap over to a different strap with no tools required. The only time you need tools is installing the bases in place of the stock strap pins. Putting the locks on the strap only requires hand tightening and could be done on stage. The only downside is the long-ish post for the strap side parts. It's a bit unsightly. And these are fairly expensive for what they are. But they are rock solid so I use them on my guitars.

    New Style Schaller Strap Locks

    The new style Schaller Strap Lock system eliminates the need for a 13 mm end wrench. The buttons do now require a 3 mm Allen wrench for installation. The screws are larger which would hold the buttons into the guitar wood body much more securely. The apparatus on the strap cannot come apart as the originals could. Very solid engineering, aber natürlich 😸

    Good quality locks

    I’ve had a lot of different brands of strap locks and these Schallers top them all! Very easy to install and don’t make any noise at all when moving around with them. You definitely pay for what you get!

    Schaller new Strap locks

    I like these locks better than the older ones only because your instrument doesnt swivel anymore between the strap button and you. I dont like the fact that the screw And button are One part on itself. Screw is fat and depending on your guitar specially if its a single cut upper horn it might cause some "damage" to the wood finish
