    Good enough for me

    I'm an apprentice carpenter and bought this for private jobs on the weekends. The impact driver is pretty good and with a 5 amp battery lasts forever, the power is consistent and overall is quite light and great power The combi drill is OK at best its only a 2 speed and is surprisingly heavy compared to its power output the drill is basically the same as other cheaper makita drills from 10 years ago with the magazine battery this is probably the weakest tool in the whole kit but it does do the job and is very durable. The SDS overall I would say is quite good I have used this to break up concrete, chop out plaster and to drill large pilot holes. It does the job quite well and the 5 amp battery's last surprising long. The torch well you always get one , but still is really useful in ...

    A very good selection of power tools for all uses

    The quality of the power tools looks good. I have not yet used any apart from the torch (which was very bright) and the drill. But they worked really well. the only issue I encountered was with the twin battery charger. one port refused to charge. However, the charger was changed straight away when I called the company. The kit came with a really big case on wheels to hold all the tools and allow for easy transport.

    Quality kit for a reasonable price.

    Makita is good quality kit, I am a carpenter working on building sites so cordless kit is essential. I compared prices with other companies and this was the best deal I could find. Now that I have this I can add to it by buying bare units because I already have 3 batteries and a twin port charger ! The 5 ah batteries last a long time and all the tools are professional quality.
