    Fascinating Behind-the-Scenes History

    I bought this book as a present, but had a quick read of it first. It offers a behind-the-scenes look at royal and ceremonial life in the recent past and portraits of some of the actors, especially HRH Princess Margaret and the author's temperamental late husband, Colin, Lord Glenconner. Anyone inmterested in the history of the UK in the recent past will find this a useful eyewitness account of a country sliding into decadence.
