RAV-290 is...
The Yamaha RAV-290 remote is a decent remote. It has good weight and is not built of flimsy plastic. The operating buttons are well raised BUT, not well spaced. I found it easy to overlap the button you actually want to use and hit something else instead. However with careful navigation of the buttons ...the remote works well. It responds quickly without delay or drag. It has decent range of operation with the base unit. If you have the manual to your unit, you will find features that are available only with the remote!
