As others have mentioned, shipping is very slow and communication is non-existent. The book I received had formerly library nations in it, and damaged corners and dust jacket, none of which was indicated in the listing. The book was shipped in a flimsy, thin envelope. I would not recommend this seller.

  • Best book of all options

While it doesn't have every trail, IMHO this is the best book for people getting started hiking in Alaska. Overviews of trails is specific yet concise, with topo trail maps and altitude gain tracks to know what you're getting into. Tells you where to bring a fishing pole too! Overall my favorite reference for hiking in Alaska to go with AllTrails app.
