    great having an alarm built in that operates with one press if you need help

    great condition handy sos button the back although I have accidentally sent alarms to my daughter twice I do know that if I needed her I could press the button and it will call her and I can talk without opening the phone and if she did not answer it went to my next emergency contact automatically. Very useful for older people or people with disabilities

    Never got this Doro phone to work acceptably. Suspect that is has a really weak antenna (poor design) &/or that there was a defect in the phone unit we purchased (suspect seller). Problems: Terrible signal/reception and also power/screen/shutdown problems. More details: Bought it for elderly person, set it up on their existing 3rd-party phone service in the US. (The fact that is "unlocked" & thus can be used with existing service was the main reason for buying it overseas through eBay.) The phone could not get a reliable connection in the user's house (whereas another-model phone on same service had no problem in the house, and the Doro phone worked OK in other locations nearby). Tried having the SIM card replaced and also putting a signal-booster in the home; that resulted in minor ...

    Bought for my elderly technophobe husband to use. Easy to hear, simple to use. Because it folds he cannot accidentally press the buttons so saves unintentionally using up all his pay as you go credits! An ideal simple mobile phone with good size buttons for larger hands.
