      A treat of all treats

      It is such a treat to make your own ice cream, and the ice cream cake makes a fabulous birthday cake instead of sponge for a change. It is well worth the time and effort. The recipes are easy to follow and the ingredients available in all shops. I loaned out my book and just had to buy another one when it wasn't returned.

      Great Recipes

      Really useful information, and recipes that work well. Although quantities are given in American terms, i.e. they refer to cups as measurements. I have tried 3 recipes so far and they have all been delicious. However, I would recommend using half the amount of cinnamon listed in the ingredients for the Banana & Cinnamon recipe.

      This has some amazing recipes in it! The ice cream base they use recommends totally raw egg, which I don't do... instead I make egg custard using the same ingredients and a slightly different method, then I follow the recipes for the incredible ice creams. There's not been one yet I've not enjoyed, and I've HAD to put the ice cream maker away before I turn into a total lard-a*se. Needless to say, it's a good book!
