Bosch PST 800 PEL Jigssaw
Great product, I bough as used, at a very competitive price especially as it was in excellent condition. I used it to cut laminate flooring, it was very useful for doing those long cuts when a plank finishes along the wall. Really easily to keep on the line I drew especially when I never used a Jigsaw previously. Comes with a case which is great for keeping all the bits together. Low vibration. 3 blade pendlem setting and a blower for keeping the guide line clear of saw dust.

NO MATTER THE AGE BOSCH POWER TOOLS EVERY TIME
I received this item only yesterday so have not had time to use it but based on my knowledge of BOSCH PRODUCTS over many years i know that if it powers up it will do the job for which it was intended in this case A JIG SAW to cement that comment i am still using a plug in BOSCH LAWN MOWER and it is still working today as it did when i bought it 15 years ago.So for all things in the power tools range i buy BOSCH

Works a treat!
After reading many reviews on different jigsaws, the Bosch PST 800 came out on top for me. Female 54 and loving my new found hobby with wood. This jigsaw is a brilliant tool and easy to use. Very light and well made. Saws through 6" x 2" in seconds with a clean cut with the blade that was provided. And the long cable is an advantage. The storage case is handy and quite tough. It easily stores the pack of 10 Bosch blades that I purchased seperately. Overall, an excellent tool that I'm more than 100% happy with and I highly recommend.

Why do they do it?
Nice tool spoilt by a stupid positioned hook blocking your view of the cutting edge. Can be cut off to get rid of it or by unscrewing the case screw and removing it. Steel base platform was poorly finished and badly marked the Timber face even after using tape to protect it. I filed and rubbed down the offending sharp edges. The blower really is a gimmick it dies very little when cutting deep sheet materials where large amounts of swarf is being produced. But the tool cut well was easy to control and more importantly it cut square once set up and screwed securely. Really weird use of a cheese head screw with a chisel groove and not a hex head set screw of allen head. Overall not bad for a plastic DIY tool.

Happy with quality and design build
Used several times for kitchen and vanity basin insert, good clean straight cut. Like the variable speed action especially at the start and end of cuts, feel more in control. Not used all the features and attachments yet hence the 4 star rating. Like the the spare blade compartment, I'm always misplacing my blades so I personally think this is a good simple idea. I have seen some reviews mention that the blade lock/unlock feature is a bit awkward to use but I have not found this a problem. All in all a good a quality jigsaw and if the purchase price is right then even better..

Good mains jig saw for DIY.
Better than my old Bosch jig saw with superior speed control and a smoother blade action. As usual I dont like the stiff plastic mains cable which is not flexible enough and always too short. Only time will tell with regards to the SDS bade fixing but seems to work fine and is a lot more convienent than the previous system where a screwdriver was required. Overall a very good product.

Better Than My Expectations
My previous jigsaw was a Bosch. Having used it for well over 25 years it still performed but I needed easier blade change facility. The old machine is now being used by my grandson. The new machine has only been used once but it has exceeded my expectations in lots of ways.

Jigsaw arrived before the specified time by 3 days! Saw is perfect except no blades so I can’t use it yet and no spare blade holder.Bought some blades separately, no problem but I can’t seem to find a spare blade holder to buy anywhere. Product is otherwise perfect, just what I expected. Thank you.
