    Super value!

    Bought this to replace a 12yr old MTX Thunder500.1 which served good. This one is smaller but has the same thumping power. Have it with paired to a Rockford Fostgate 12" sub and it moves it nicely. For the price it is a great amp and super value. You can't go wrong with it.

    A great amp for the price!

    I replaced an MTX Thunder 275 amp that I was using to power two 10 inch MTX Thunder subs. The MTX 500.1 mono block amp really helped bring out the bass I was missing, it's a small but powerful amp. I also like the bass controller. This amp is rated at 500 watts RMS @ 2 ohms. I have two 8 ohm speakers wired parallel and measured 3.6 ohms of resistance, so it puts a little more than 300 watts RMS to the MTX Thunder woofers. A great amp for the price!

    Great amp for the price.

    Have the amp paired with the MTX Terminator TNE212D sub box that comes with two 12" subs at 2 ohms. Running the amp at 32 volts. It hits hard!
