    Barely Adequate, Never Secure

    This product does not have the heavy duty quality expected of Master Lock. It isn't going to stop anyone stealing a bicycle; it might make it obvious what they are doing. It is just too lightweight and fragile. It is alright for locking a bike outside a grocery store or library for ten minutes and that is about it.

    THIS BIKE CABLE LOCK APPEARS TO BE OF GOOD QUALITY AND THE CABLE IS WITHOUT A DOUBT CAPEABLE OF DOING WHAT IT WAS DESIGNED FOR BUT THE LOCK MECHANISM WHERE ONE END OF THE CABLE FITS INTO THE TUMBLER OF THE OTHER END OF THE CABLE IS PLASTIC.....THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THE LOCK AND IT IS MY OPINION THAT THEY COULD HAVE MADE THAT PIECE OUT OF METAL. IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IT WOULD NOT TAKE MUCH TO BREAK IT. I GUESS YOU COULD SAY WHAT DO YOU EXPECT FOR THE CHEAPER PRICE....WHEN I BUY ANOTHER ONE IT WILL BE OF BETTER QUALITY.
