    Great tape measure

    Black and Decker have always made good products, I had one of these, bought it in 2002, unfortunately the rust fairies finally did for the return spring. Simple, needed another one, so glad one came up of e-bay. It is a discontinued item.

    Not practical

    I would not buy this for its usefulness, because it isn't. I only purchased this for my 4 year old who is obsessed with tape measures. And I wouldn't pay retail for it, I got used on eBay for a fraction of its price new. I do plenty of work on my house and don't waste my time trying to use this thing. It uses way too much battery power and doesn't always extend or retract the way you want it to.

    Black&Decker AutoTape

    I owned one of these for over fifteen years before it gave its life for one last job. Although not new, the one I just purchased is in like-new condition, came with the four batteries installed and arrived much sooner than I expected. I was very happy to find one available on eBay since I have become very attached to using one. It is great when you are working alone and especially when you are on a ladder.

    Great tool.

    I have had this tape measure for years and was going to buy one for a family member, not knowing I wouldn't be able to find one at Home Depot or Lowe’s. It’s the best tape measure to use when you’re working alone.

    Fun AND functional!

    Fun toy and functional at the same time. Awesome for use in bathrooms where you don't have to touch germy tape measure. Plus, did I mention it's fun and all the guys try to take from me? Can't even find this anymore!
