  • This book is amazing. Completely riveting. The fact that this is actually a true story is fascinating. Highly recommend.

This is the story of one of the ruthless criminals in the history of the United States. Who happens to be a woman. How the DEA agent followed her and made it his mission to capture and prosecute her is inspiring and super interesting. There’s a movie coming out soon re: this story and I am anxious to see the true details included. Because of amazing law enforcement like the men and women in this book that dedicate their lives to help keeping our country safe we get to live in a free America. The thing that shocked me most was the diplomatic hot potato that the drug and specifically the cocaine business was/is. Very beauocratic. I wonder how long it would truly take to prosecute cartels if those in DC stopped pointing fingers at one another and side stepping?
