The fan wasn't new and had been put togeather badly by someone else and damaged. It was sent to me in a damaged box with no packing inside so the fan got damaged. Plastic parts broken. There were no instructions. I just kept getting the same reply to my messages. Then stating the fan was new and to go on the Internet for instructions. I had sent photos of damaged fan and tatty preopend box
