Good water filter
I've had this Brita Marella water filter for about 10 days and it the best water filter I've had for a long time. When I first decided what type to get this product caught my eye and also you get 6 cartridges with it. I also wanted the type where you put the cartridge in and not like some models where the cartridge has to be fixed under, I've had this type and the cartridge would fall off occasionally . I would recommend this model type to anyone thinking about getting one.

Bitter taste
Quick and easy, but it has a slight bitter taste. The manual is a bit too confusing, and I just gave up on trying to turn on the little panel. But it's ok, I know i'm supposed to change the filter in 1 month, no real need to use the panel.

Exactly what I wanted
Great replacement for classic style Brita jug and same size as original, so it fits in the fridge door. Less nooks and crannies in it so will be easy to clean now. Like the fact that it has a display in the lid, and it came with six filters at an excellent price. Very pleased with purchase.

Easy to operate, makes a difference to the taste of water
Bought this at my wife’s request as she wanted to start our 6 month old on small amounts of water alongside weaning and insisted filtered water would be best. This is easy to set up and operate and does make a difference to the taste of our tap water, although we’re not in a hard water area so it was already palatable. Can’t comment on cost effectiveness vs bottled water as I don’t buy this very often anyway. Good that this unit came with a six months supply of cartridges and the bundle is good value when you look at buying the cartridges alone.

slimline fits in fridge door
This filter jug is very easy to set up and fits in the fridge door with ease, the water it filters is very nice to drink and as it is chilled will be perfect on a hot day, the only minor complaint is the electronic filter reminder which tells you when to change the filter this item does not work very well so I will change the internal filter once a month and not bother with it, the whole jug can be taken apart for cleaning and that also is very easy to do so that will also be done monthly.

Great value
It came with a water jug and 6 cartridges which is a great deal for the price . The water jug is lovely and easy to fill up and clean. The little indicator is helpful when to replace the cartridge. At average each cartridge lasts a month. Water will taste weird when a new cartridge is put in. When replaced the cartridge, I needed to run the cartridge a few times until the bitter taste cleared up. The filtered water taste lovely and it makes the coffee and tea taste more pleasant. A good buy in overall.

This was a great edition to our household as our local water supply was very brown and this helped filter all the rubbish out of it and so we no longer had to buy bottled water. No more Limescale.
I live in Suffolk in the Ipswich area and it has the hardest water in the country, more limescale than anywhere else. So the Brita Jug is a Godsend, at last, no more scum floating on top of my coffee. My kettle stay nice and clean and does not require constant de-scaling. The Jug is very easy to use, just insert the filter and you are ready, Very easy to clean. I am very pleased with this product.

Water is nice to drink and timer panel keeps you updated on filter life. Changing filters and cleaning of the product is very easy. A refreshing cuppa
I live in an area with very hard water. If you make a cup of tea and leave it for a few minute, you end up with with a skin on the top which sticks to the sides of the cup....yuck! As soon as I started using my Brita the tea no longer had this scum on the top and the tea tastes amazing. Refreshing and clear. Its a lovely cuppa. I highly recommend this product.
