After exchanging messages the seller offered to relist the item for me to buy at the original winning price, which was a nice gesture. So it was quite a disappointment for the item to then be relisted the next day for a set price of £8 more then my winning bid, with no option for me to make an offer matching the original price. Whatever the reasons are, this is a poor way to treat a buyer.
