    Is it quiet?

    I have very hard water, and the Crane demineralization cartridge really helps extend the life of my Crane humidifier. It's easy to use, occasionally a cartridge will have a little discoloration to the water you soak it in to prepare it, but that's a one time event. I have used a filter for much longer than recommended and had the same terrific results as when the item was new.

    Crane filter

    Works pretty good. Better than NOT using a filter. I dont care if they say you dont need a filter for a humidifier of this type. Witthout one you will havew white dust all over the house. It even sometimes gets in side of my kitchen cabinets(dont know how) but it does. A filter is necessary. And this is the best.

    Does a great job and no noise like others.

    It is very quiet and you don't even hear it working. It is great! I have had the humidifier a few years and don't use it much. This is the first time I needed a new filter. I do not use it all the time. I noticed that now when I put the "top" back on after I put cold water in it, some goes down to the base.......I do not remember this happening before.. Have any other people mentioned this? Now every time I refill it I have to first empty the base.

    Great humidifier

    This is the best and easiest humidifier I have ever used. I buy a new one every year because I do not want to grown any bacteria by leaving it set over the summer. At $49.00 this is a great buy. I have bought this particular brand and model for the last 6 years. The reviews from others is great too.
