      No more unstable Wifi

      Works right away. Wifi is stable, speed is great so as response times. Minor downside is that you can only assigne static IP to the access point if you install the controller to a PC that has to be in the same subnet. Controller requires Java 8 to be installed that I did not want to do :)

      Great addition to my Unifi environment

      This is the latest addition to my Unifi environment, and provides coverage for my entire garden. It simply required a reset before I was able to adopt the AP into my Pi based controller, and update the firmware, at which point all of my networks were presented. Overnight, the scheduled scan ran and adjusted the channels to minimise interference between my other APs and all of the neighbors' various Wi-Fi equipment.
