    First Season True Detective--The Best !!!

    The second season of True Detective was a disappointment--But not the First Season. Two actors Matthew McConaughey-(Oscar winner)-and Woody Harrelson--at the top of their game give performances that are so engaging as "Rust" & "Marty"-they take us right into the story, that it's hard to turn away. Through the 8 episodes, which cover 17 years of their lives (1995 to 2012) we are on the edge of seats until the end, with a Finale that takes your breathe away!!! Let's not forget how good the writing is in this series. ---Buy this DVD set on Ebay--You won't be disappointed. Matthew has talked to the creator Nic Pizzolatto about playing "Rust" again in a Seas.3-if it could be written as good as Seas. 1 was--Let's hope so!!! frankjann2012

    If you like crime shows, who-done-its, or just appreciate a great story this is for you.

    This blu-ray set is 3 separate DVD's and contains all of the behind the scenes info you could hope for. Spoiler alert, watch the episode before the special features. There are only 3 real stars of the show: Woody; Mathew; and the Louisiana Bayou Country.

The story, performances, characters, cinematography, direction and its unflinching view of unspeakable crimes grab onto you and will not let go. No spoilers here. This is must viewing by anyone who takes the craft of film making seriously. Do not miss it.
